Cambridge Medic - 4A*s at A level - Biology Tuition, Medical School Interview Preparation, UCAT and BMAT Tuition, Personal Statement Service To achieve a place to study medicine at Cambridge University, one of the most prestigious medical schools in the entire world, I had to excel in my BMAT. I also achieved offers at all three other medical schools I applied to (Exeter, Cardiff and Birmingham) due to my exceptional UCAT score which was higher than 70% of students the year I sat it. Whilst in Cambridge, I have already received my first degree in biomedical science and am now in my fifth year studying clinical medicine. Exams are my strong-suit: I have never gotten less than an A* for my final grade in any subject I have ever taken at GCSE or at A-level. If you chose me as your personal Oxbridge tutor, I will ensure that you excel to the top grades in your entrance exams and stand out at interview (I was ranked 1st out of over 1000 students interviewed for some MMI stations). I will not only help you understand content but also reveal how to use great exam technique to translate your knowledge into marks in the exam. The nature of the BMAT and UCAT mean that the skill lies not only in knowing the right answer, but also in being able to identify it rapidly, something which I will help you to achieve during our sessions. In addition, I will not only help you to tick off all the boxes at your interviews, but also to stand out to the interviewer so that you achieve all your offers, exactly as I did. Personal Statements for Medicine: I will go through your personal statement line by line, giving detailed feedback on each sentence and showing you how I would rewrite it so that it glistens in the hands of the admissions tutor as they read it. I know how to tick off the attributes they are looking for and how to word it in a way that will make you stand out as an exceptional applicant. I had hired James for tutoring for my son in preparation for his uni medicine interview. James had prepared many questions specific to each university to discuss every lesson. I could see my son benefitted a lot from this, his confidence had improved and he was much more prompt in answering the questions during the interviews. I would recommend James to anyone who is looking for a tutor in preparation for interviews.
-MuraliJames is a very dedicated and intelligent tutor. Unlike some other tutors, for BMAT tuition he would always do the questions as I did them so he could explain them best way possible. Also he has really good resources for interview prep and will tailor the sessions very specifically depending on which uni you’re prepping for. I tried tutors from various other companies, but hands down James was the most helpful.
James is extremely well educated and knows the best ways of getting the highest marks in exams. He is very hardworking and will ensure his clients get personalised tutoring, moulded to their needs.
