About Louis
I’m a Cambridge language graduate and a native Mexican Spanish speaker. Having studied within the Cambridge system myself, I understand both the academic expectations and the pressure students can feel at different stages of their education.
I support students preparing for GCSEs and A Levels, helping them strengthen exam technique, improve written and spoken accuracy, and feel fully confident going into their assessments. I know what examiners look for and how to structure answers for top marks, and I break this down into clear, manageable steps.
I also work with students who simply want to improve their language skills more generally — whether that’s building fluency, expanding vocabulary, improving pronunciation, or gaining confidence in conversation.

My teaching approach is centred on the individual. I take time to understand each student’s strengths, challenges, and goals, then design personalised lessons to suit them. For exam students, I also place strong emphasis on past paper practice, taking the time to see what specific areas can be improved and structured writing technique.
Lessons typically last 60 minutes, though I also offer 90-minute sessions for students preparing for exams.
My aim is to create supportive, focused lessons that help students feel more confident, more independent, and fully prepared to achieve their goals.
