About Urvasi
I am currently doing the second year of my Masters in Banking and Financial Law at the University of Montpellier. I obtained my law degree at the University of Bordeaux and did my first year of Masters at the University of Panthéon-Sorbonne.
I have taught biology and chemistry in English to students aged 12 to 18 in high-school back in Mauritius.
I also taught English to a student in Mauritius (as a volunteer).
I self-published my first novel, Viatorem, in December 2020 (written entirely in English).

For the first lesson, I would like to start by discussing with the student and make him/her take a few tests in order to assess his level and to determine any weak points on which I will focus.
Then we will work on exercises to help him/her strengthen these points.
I can also take a look at his/her school curriculum (at your request) and follow said curriculum.
In my opinion, reading is of the utmost importance for one to learn a language, and therefore we will do some reading (books are chosen according to the student's interests). They will read aloud to practice their pronunciation, and we shall end with a few minutes of discussion on the content of the book.
