About Shihan A A
Shihan A. A. Kasali 5th DAN Shotokan, 7th DAN Shorin-Ryu Karate-Do is a reputable karate-Do master. For years he has taught the art of Shotokan and Shorin-Ryu Karate-Do to more than 300 students. Presently, he has to his credit more than 50 Senior and 105 Junior Karate Black Belts. With the rapid expansion of his students in some states in Nigeria, Cameroon, Ghana, and the Niger Republic, he formed in 1994 Nigerian Shorin-Ryu Karate-Do Association and became its Chief Instructor. He was the A.B.U. Zaria Chief Karate-Do Instructor from 1993 – 2003 and taught Defence Tactics Training Course to ABU/USP Security Division Zaria, 1999 – 2000 and Defence Tactics Training Course in Federal Polytechnic Nassarawa to Security Personnel, February 2001. He has also extended his self-defence training to the military, para-military, and many Policemen had learnt the techniques from him. In 2017, he created the Instant Self-Defence School to help people of different backgrounds and those who need Self-Defence most to learn the art of personal protection offline and online without consideration of distance.

I teach with the FOUR PRINCIPLES of Defence which is simple for anybody regardless of age, sex, religion, or tribe. These four principles have kept many of my students alive even if they are caught in a big riot.
Violent crime is everywhere and is everyone’s concern and responsibility. Many people have erroneously assumed that the government or local police department is responsible for their protection against those who might seek to rob, rape, or murder them. If so, I regret to inform you that you’re wrong. You must accept the ugly fact that you are a potential victim. Accept responsibility for your own protection and well-being.
My Self-Defence Courses are programmed to run at 3 levels. Basic, Advanced, and Coaching. They are built to help you:
1. Gain Confidence
2. Resist Fear
3. Protect Your Property & Family
4. Avoid Hardship, Kidnapping & Premature Death
5. Avoid Most Crime Even If You Are Sleeping.
The first lesson is free and the consequent lessons are charged at my rate. The teaching is simple and can be learned by everyone. Instant Basic Self-Defence Certificate would be awarded on completion of the course. It is also important to note that your basic certificate is access to show your proficiency where it might be required and would also help you to register for the Advance Self-Defence Course. From Advance Course, you can graduate to register for Coaching Course which will enable you to train some students and make money with your expertise.

The rate charged per hour is negotiable depending on the distance the student might travel for this lecture and proximity to the training gym. If the student needs to travel we can calculate and remove it from the total amount paid.
