About Yanni
I am dedicated to helping students learn through collaborative efforts. I wish to assist students in improving their studies so they can achieve their personal goals and have good future prospects. I believe that studies should not be a struggle but a means to achieve what you want in life and learn. I want to elevate the learning of students through tailored effective lessons and believe that I would serve as not only an educator but a supporter.

- My teaching methodology changes in accordance with the student's needs. If students are confident with the topic, I will use a more exercise and practice approach, while with other students, it might be more in-depth explanations, etc. I will provide notes and relevant study materials if needed to support the student's learning
- I studied Biology, Physics and Chemistry in IGCSEs (all grade 9, 0-9) and took Biology and Chemistry higher level for my International Baccalaureate (A level equivalent)
- typical 1 hr /lesson, might extend to 1.5 hr depending on the student's need
- I have been a tutor for four years now, with experience in giving meaningful and effective lessons
- I provide Biology, chemistry and English lessons to students that are going to take the IGCSE or IB exam (typically aged 14-18). For IB students, I have studied these three subjects at higher level; hence my lessons are for both standard and higher level students
- I also provide comprehension, reading, and general English lessons to younger children aged 3 - 14
