About Marcelo
Hello! My name is Mestre Medusa. My motto is joy through movement! I am a Rio de Janeiro native living in Los Angeles eager to share Afro-Brazilian self-defense. With over 30 years of experience as a movement educator, my passion is creating inclusive, joyful learning environments for students of all ages and backgrounds through both in-person and virtual instruction. Certified in multiple disciplines with a passion for preserving cultural traditions while promoting physical wellness.
