About Louise
I am a dedicated ESL tutor with 11 years of experience teaching high school and college students, specialising in personalised instruction that fosters fluency, confidence, and academic achievement. I design lessons to match the student’s goals, level, and learning style, integrating grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, and speaking exercises with practical examples and interactive activities.
I aim to create a positive and motivating environment where students feel encouraged to participate actively, build confidence, and develop strong communication skills. My teaching philosophy centres on the C³P approach—Creativity, Communication, Compassion, and Problem-solving—to ensure students not only learn English but enjoy the journey. Communication is emphasised through discussions, debates, and group work, allowing students to develop fluency, active listening skills, and confidence in expressing ideas. Compassion drives my teaching; I understand that every learner is unique, so I tailor lessons to individual strengths and areas of improvement, providing encouragement and support.
Problem-solving is integrated through real-life scenarios, analytical exercises, and collaborative tasks that challenge students to think critically and apply language skills practically. I also teach relevant subjects such as reading comprehension, writing skills, and vocabulary building, which complement English learning and enhance overall academic growth.
