About Ellis

Hi, I’m currently studying a Master’s in Strategic Entrepreneurship and Innovation at Cardiff University, having previously completed a degree in Sport Science and Football.

Alongside my studies, I’ve gained practical experience working in sales, business development and project management. I’m also involved in developing my own business projects, which has given me a real interest in how businesses operate, grow and succeed.

I’ve spent over seven years coaching football, working with young people of different ages and abilities. Through this, I’ve developed strong communication and teaching skills, and I’ve always enjoyed helping others learn and build their confidence.

I think Business Studies is a really interesting subject because so much of what you learn can be applied to everyday life. I enjoy using real examples to explain concepts and make topics easier to understand.

Outside of university and work, I’m interested in football, music, languages and entrepreneurship. I’m friendly, patient and approachable, and I aim to make my lessons enjoyable and useful for every student.

About the lesson

My lessons are tailored to each student, whether you’re looking to improve your understanding of Business Studies, build confidence or prepare for your GCSE or A-level exams.

I’m currently studying a Master’s in Strategic Entrepreneurship and Innovation at Cardiff University, and I also have practical experience working in sales and business development. I like to bring real-world examples into my lessons to help students understand how the topics they’re studying apply to actual businesses.

Lessons are usually an hour long and can cover anything from marketing and finance to entrepreneurship, business strategy and operations. I’m also happy to focus on specific topics students are struggling with or work through past papers and exam questions together.

I aim to keep lessons relaxed and engaging, making sure students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace. My goal is to help students understand the subject rather than simply memorise information for an exam.
