I have over 10 years of experience in education and I truly love what I do. If I had not become an art teacher, I would have been a reading specialist. I love supporting students one-on-one because of how rewarding it is to see their progress and to help them build confidence.

I have been tutoring since I graduated college in 2009 and began working as a substitute teacher. I have experience with all subjects, but I am strongest in reading and writing, as I minored in literature. Since then I have worked as a special education paraprofessional supporting a student with autism. I later went on to become an art teacher, which I have been doing for the past eight years. I have a calm and gentle demeanor with kids and I approach teaching with a student-led philosophy.
