About Faith
I'm a certified teacher in Ontario and an Occasional French Immersion Teacher. I have French Immersion classroom teaching experience in grades 1, 2, and 8. I have experience creating individualized literacy lessons as a tutor for grade three students. I also have experience teaching adults at U of T. I am a Mother and former Exploration Geologist where I worked in isolated camps in Nunavut with a French team (think safety awareness and cultural experience) which adds a unique richness to my French experience and desire to teach it.

I will structure my lessons primarily within a framework of my student's interests and experience. I will include different cultures, social and environmental activism, the arts, connection to the land, math and physical sciences in my lessons and will focus on making learning fun! I will support my students with reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills with safe experiential outdoor learning when possible or online. Wherever we meet, my student's needs will be met with compassion and a passion for instilling a love of learning the French language!
