About Sarah
I have taught students in supplemental instruction courses for three years during undergrad, and privately tutored seven or eight students during that time. Several of my students have seen drastic increases in their test scores. For example, I had a student who started out with a C+ and ended up with an A- in their general chemistry class.
I have always respected my students’ privacy over their grades and personal lives, and worked to improve not only their academic performance but also their personal sense of confidence.

I am a tutor for high school or undergraduate students studying biology, general chemistry, organic chemistry, and/or biochemistry.
I tailor each of my sessions to the specific needs and learning styles of my students. A lesson plan can involve anything from explaining and discussing broad concepts to practicing small details. I also do research prior to sessions to make sure my students have the materials they need to succeed— including online simulations, different models, and as many practice problems as required!
