About Paola
I have been teaching for 27 years. I have taught both in BC and Ontario. I have also taught at international schools in South America and Indonesia.
I have taught with a variety of curriculum and children of all ages and varying cultures.
I have a great deal of experience teaching kids who have experienced challenges at school, and I have been extremely successful in teaching children with dyslexia to read and enjoy reading.
I have travelled a great deal and I speak fluent Italian and some Spanish.

I assess each students learning level then I target my lessons at their specific needs.
I continue to assess on a regular basis to chart the students learning progression and consistently redesign my plans according to their needs.
I create a trusting relationship with the student, so they feel at ease and are comfortable taking risks to learn.
