About XIAOYING
I am a certified Chinese language teacher with extensive experience in both overseas and online Chinese teaching. During my university studies, I received systematic training in Chinese language and linguistics, which has provided me with a strong professional foundation.
My students come from all over the world. One of my students from Colombia started learning Chinese with me as a complete beginner and successfully reached HSK Level 5. Throughout the learning journey, I not only helped him improve his pronunciation, grammar, and understanding of Chinese characters, but also introduced him to the richness of Chinese culture.
For example, he was especially interested in Chinese history, so I incorporated historical topics into our lessons, guiding him through China's development from ancient civilization to modern times. I believe that learning a language is not only about mastering vocabulary and grammar, but also about understanding the culture and way of thinking behind it.
I can communicate in basic English and Spanish, which helps beginner students feel more comfortable and confident in class.

In class, I will encourage you to speak confidently and practice listening, speaking, reading, and communication in a relaxed and supportive environment. I will also take detailed notes on key points, common mistakes, and important language patterns, so you can stay focused on learning without worrying about missing anything.
After each lesson, I will send you organized class notes and personalized learning suggestions to help you review and reinforce what you have learned.
