About Mia
I am Mia. I am from the south of China and currently living in Dublin, Ireland. I am a very well-traveled person that has experience of traveling to 70 countries and living in 5 countries. 10 years ago, I accidentally became a Chinese teacher, and with my unique teaching method and passion for teaching, I became the most popular teacher in the school. At that time being a Chinese teacher was not just my job but helped me grow. Through meeting students from all over the world, I truly learned a lot about the world from them. After two years of teaching, due to personal reasons, I changed from a full-time Chinese teacher to a part-time teacher. And a year ago I became a full-time teacher again. Being a Chinese teacher is truly the happiest profession in my life so far. As a Chinese teacher, I value the structure of my class and I focus on improving my students’ Chinese proficiency in all aspects. I am very good at helping my students understand Chinese grammar and complex sentence structure. I use relaxing and close-to-life dialogues to help students improve their Chinese speaking.
