About Courtney
I am a certified special education teacher with experience supporting young learners as they develop foundational reading skills. I specialize in Orton-Gillingham–based reading instruction, a structured, evidence-based approach that is widely recognized for supporting early readers and students with dyslexia or reading difficulties. My professional background has given me a strong understanding of how children learn, how to individualize instruction, and how to provide targeted support in a way that is both effective and encouraging. I prioritize clear lesson structure, intentional planning, and consistent progress monitoring to ensure each student is supported appropriately.
