About Faria

As a dedicated and passionate English teacher with over 5 years of experience, I take great pride in helping students unlock their full potential. My teaching style is based on proven, student-centered methodologies that focus on real-life communication, building confidence, and fostering a love for learning. I understand that each student has their own unique learning style and goals, which is why I tailor every lesson to fit your specific needs. Whether you're a beginner looking to grasp the basics or an advanced student aiming to refine your fluency, I am committed to helping you reach your objectives in a supportive and engaging way.

About the lesson

As an English tutor, my approach is centered around creating an engaging, student-focused experience. I believe in tailoring each lesson to the student's unique learning style and goals, ensuring they feel empowered to progress at their own pace. Here’s a breakdown of my methodology: Communicative approach, Interactive and Task-based learning.
Typical lesson plan includes:
Warm-up (5-10 minutes): Casual conversation on a familiar topic to build rapport and ease into the lesson.
Main Activity (25-30 minutes): Focus on a specific skill—grammar, vocabulary, speaking, writing, or listening—tailored to the student's current level.
Practice & Feedback (10-15 minutes): A hands-on exercise where the student can apply what they've learned, followed by constructive feedback and suggestions for improvement.
Wrap-up & Homework (5-10 minutes): A quick review of the lesson’s key points and assigning a short task to reinforce learning.
What Sets Me Apart:
Personalized Attention: Each student is unique, so I design lessons that specifically address their strengths and areas for improvement.
Supportive & Positive Environment: I encourage students to make mistakes and learn from them, fostering a judgment-free atmosphere that builds confidence.
Holistic Learning: Besides language skills, I focus on cultural nuances and conversational idioms, helping students become well-rounded in their communication.
