About David
I hold a TEFL certification and have over three years' experience teaching English. I spent two and a half years teaching English for two academies in Spain and have since dedicated my spare time to teaching recent immigrants to Canada. Additionally, I hold a B.A in international development and I am registered to sit my paralegal exam in February, 2021.

I typically try to maximize the time that the learner is speaking English. I will often do this by first introducing a set of vocabulary that the leaner is likely to be interested in. I will then introduce each new word individually, and ask roughly ten questions that relate to the new word. I will correct grammar and pronunciation as we go on. Other days I will dedicate to grammar, and this would involve thoroughly explaining a concept such as the present perfect or future perfect, and then, again, asking the student questions that require the student to employ that concept.
