My qualification in Japanese teaching is using direct method (teaching Japanese in Japanese), however for complete beginner I can use English as needed. The textbook used in the classroom will be based on Minna no Nihongo (みんなの日本語), which is the basic textbook that many Japanese learner will come by, however I also use Irodori (いろどり) which is a textbook completely accessible online. The class will typically be 50 mins, once a week. I have taught anyone from age 7 to 50s. I have experience teaching in Japanese language school in Kyoto city, Japan.
