About HyeJung
Hello everyone! My name is HyeJung, and I am a professional, native Korean instructor based in London. I was born and raised in South Korea, and after living across multiple countries, I am currently settled in the UK. Because I’ve lived in different cultures myself, I truly understand the unique challenges and exciting milestones of learning a new language.
When it comes to my background, I hold multiple degrees including Korean Language & Literature and Korean as a foreign language, alongside an official Level 2 Korean Language Teacher Certificate. I bring over 15 years of comprehensive teaching experience. Currently, I am teaching diplomats and government officials at the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office, or FCDO. I've also taught at prominent institutions like Korean Cultural Centre UK, the London Sejong Institute, and major corporate partners.

Want to learn Korean with confidence?
Hi! I'm Hye Jung, a Korean tutor who can help you understand Korean step by step.
Are you struggling with Korean grammar, sentence structure, or making your own sentences? I'll explain things clearly in English so you can understand not just what to say, but why Korean works the way it does.
In our lessons, we can focus on:
Korean grammar: Understand the rules instead of simply memorising them.
Speaking practice: Build confidence expressing yourself in Korean.
Everyday Korean: Learn useful expressions for real-life situations.
Personalised lessons: Focus on your goals, level, and learning pace.
Whether you're a complete beginner or already know some Korean, I'd be happy to help you take the next step.
Typical length of a lesson is 50mins.
I teach all levels.
Let's make learning Korean clear, enjoyable, and rewarding!
