I am a BC Certified District Literacy Enhancement Teacher with the Vancouver School Board since 2002. Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Education and Graduate Diploma-Early Years Education all completed at UBC. I specialize as an Early Literacy Interventionist; English Language Learner Teacher and Reading and Writing Specialist.

As a literacy educator it is imperative to strategically prompt in order to enhance a child's unique literacy processing system. There are complex relationships for developing a child's reading skills. Opportunities in reading require an emphasis on being consistent, insistent and persistent. Tutoring is successful because it provides highly individualized one-on-one instruction via an online platform with leveled literacy intervention books.
