About Imi
I am a dedicated and passionate educator. My journey in teaching began with a deep love for working with children and a desire to make Mandarin culture accessible and enjoyable for the young generation.
I am extremely patient and responsible, and I ensure every student feels supported and encouraged throughout their learning process. Having completed the Foundation Language of Teaching certificate at the University of Sydney, I combine professional academic standards with a warm approachable teaching style.

My lessons are specifically designed to make Chinese learning engaging and effective for young learners from Kindergarten to Year 12. With 3 years of experience as a community teacher, I understand that every child learns differently and at a different pace, so I tailor my teaching methodology to suit each student's level.
For younger students, I incorporate interactive games and visual aids to build a strong interest in the language. For older students, I focus on grammar, expanding vocabulary, and improving conversational fluency for daily lives.
