About Lola
I have over 15 years of experience teaching piano to college students and enjoy helping learners build confidence and musical skill step by step. My teaching style is flexible, patient, and student-focused, allowing lessons to match each student’s pace and goals.
I focus on strong piano fundamentals such as technique, posture, rhythm, sight-reading, and music theory. To make learning interesting, I use creative methods like improvisation, basic composition exercises, and blending classical pieces with modern music.
I also help students improve performance confidence and expressive playing. My goal is to create a positive learning space where students feel motivated, supported, and excited to improve their piano skills.

My piano teaching methodology is creative, student-centred, and structured. I aim to mentor students while helping them grow into independent and confident musicians.
Creativity is central to my lessons. Students explore songs they love, practise improvisation, and take part in interactive exercises. This makes learning fun, inspiring, and motivating.
As a critical thinker, I guide students to understand rhythm, scales, chords, hand coordination, and musical expression. Complex concepts are broken into simple steps so students can learn effectively and improve steadily.
Accountability is emphasised through goal setting, structured practice routines, and regular progress tracking. Students develop responsibility, motivation, and long-term success.
Along with piano, I teach music theory, sight reading, ear training, rhythm exercises, keyboard basics, and basic composition to strengthen overall musical skills.
