I have been in education for 20 years working as a tutor, teacher, administrator, and instructional coach. I have tutored online for 3 years and face to face for 17 years. I have taught Algebra, Statistics and Calculus on the high school and college levels.

I have a student centered approach to teaching. I like to find out as much about my students as possible so that I can tailor our sessions using real world applications based on student interests and learning styles. My educational philosophy is rooted in constructivism. I like to build on student prior knowledge and experiences to build on new concepts. I have spent 11 years researching pedagogy and andragogy , determining the best ways to guide children and adults to academic success.
