About Joseph
I am a certified and licensed NYC Public School teacher and published writer. I studied the Great Books at St. John's Annapolis College and received my Master's in English Education and Literature from CUNY Brooklyn College.
Though my educational background is steeped within a traditional & classical educational model, my educational advocacy is to promote and introduce my students to a classical view of the world, to give them the benefit of a historical timeline, so they may approach new forms of technology and the ideologies of today, with the power and knowledge of how they came to be.

My experience teaching explicit instruction for ACT, Regents, PSAT & SAT exams intersects with NYS Next Generation Learning Standards for English Language Arts & Literature, Global Studies, American and World History, Algebra & Algebra 2, & Precalculus.
I provide comprehensive diagrams and slides for students and explicit models and demonstrations for all student-guided practice.
Students have a chance of mastering not only the individual discipline but will also gain a cross-curriculum view for how the discipline intersects with other disciplines and the world.
With my specialized instructional practices and years of educational experience, students will gain a mentor who will always set time and guidance aside for whatever future endeavors they might need assistance with.
