About Esther
As a certified official translator/ interpreter with a University degree by the prestigious University of Granada in Spain I have developed strong written and oral communications skills while honing and refining these various skills in different languages such as English(second language), French (advance level) and my native language Spanish. Due to my educational background I have experience in the field of law with the various types of legal documents both in Spanish and English. Some of these documents include wills, powers of attorney, criminal records, divorce agreements, rental agreements and birth certificates. As a translator/interpreter for Gordon Brothers Europe my work activities included offering my translation interpreting skills to the consultants of the liquidation company and the staff of the hypermarket that was being closed, helping them to accomplish their daily tasks and also collaborating in the administration and work procedures. As a freelance translator/interpreter for the company Big Globe I provided my services as a phone-interpreter for work meetings, administrative procedures in the city council, visits to the doctor and everyday situation. As a Spanish instructor at Scotiabank I delivered lessons in accordance with Berlitz teaching principles focused on the interests and needs of the client.

As a Spanish Language Instructor I delivered lessons in accordance with Berlitz teaching principles focused on the interests and needs of the client working on one and coaching groups. I integrated learning technology into teaching programs. I use a direct method in teaching Spanish, establishing an immediate and audio visual association between experience and expression, word and phrases, idioms and meanings, rules and perfomances through the teachers' body and mental skills without any help of the learners' mother tongue.
