I work with
— Elementary and middle school students (grades 3–8) who need help with general science concepts, science fair projects, or building foundational understanding before high school
— High school students in physics or chemistry who are keeping up but want to do better, or who are behind and need to catch up quickly
— AP Physics 1 students preparing for the exam or struggling with specific units (kinematics, forces, energy, momentum, rotation, fluids)
— AP Physics C: Electricity & Magnetism students who need support with the calculus-based material, Maxwell's equations, or circuits
— Any student who has a big test coming up and needs focused, efficient prep in a short amount of time
I'm patient, I explain things multiple ways until something clicks, and I genuinely enjoy this. If your student has tried other tutors and is still stuck, I'd love to take a shot at it.

I connect the science to something the student already understands before introducing the formal math or vocabulary.
I'm an active classroom teacher, not just a tutor. That means I'm in front of students every single day, I know exactly what teachers expect, and I understand how science and physics are actually being taught right now. I write my own original practice materials, including AP-style multiple choice questions and free response problems with full worked solutions, and I bring those to sessions rather than pulling random problems off the internet.
