About Rihab
As a Science department chair, currently teaching 8th-grade Advanced and Honors Science, I lead my team in streamlining instructional practices to ensure consistent student outcomes.
With a Master of Science in Molecular Biology and a background as a research specialist and published author, I bring the high-level content expertise necessary to strengthen the rigor and depth of our science curriculum.

I encourage active participation, reflection, and regular feedback to ensure understanding. A typical lesson with me would consist of a warm-up/ review of the previous lesson, introducing the new topic, followed by interactive instruction, some guided and independent practice, then review and feedback, which would be discussing solutions, etc., and ending with a wrap-up/ summarizing key takeaway, suggesting resources for further study, and outlining the next steps. What sets me apart as a tutor is that I’m patient, approachable, and invested in your child’s success. I tailor my lessons to any specific needs, pace, or learning goals. I also make the learning experience enjoyable and motivating by connecting content to your interests and future aspirations. My lessons are for anyone struggling with Science and below.
