About Kristin
I have been teaching students with learning disabilities, behavioral issues and mental health issues for over 20 years in both the public and private school sector. I am working on my Masters Degree in Special Education with a focus on mental health. I have been tutoring students online since 2015 and really enjoy the format. I believe learning should be fun and engaging and I like to think outside of the box when it comes to my students needs.

My lessons are structured around the needs of the student. I am patient, flexible and adapt quickly to the needs of my students. I incorporate breaks as needed and like to use games and short learning videos as rewards for a job well done! Learning is a wonderful adventure and I love seeing my students meet goals that once seemed impossibe! I also can assist students meet their IEP goals.
