About Kelly
I am a certified teacher with experience working with students across a wide range of ages, ability levels, and learning needs. As a resource teacher, I have worked closely with students receiving special education services, providing individualized instruction and support to help them build confidence and achieve academic success. This experience has given me a strong understanding of how to adapt lessons to meet each student's unique strengths, challenges, and learning style.
In addition to my classroom experience, I have extensive experience in communication, writing, and education through my work as a teacher, mentor, and performer. I am passionate about helping students develop the skills they need to become confident readers, writers, and critical thinkers.

My English and writing lessons are designed to help students become more confident, effective communicators while developing strong reading, writing, and critical thinking skills. Whether a student needs help with essays, creative writing, grammar, organization, or school assignments, lessons are tailored to meet their individual goals and learning style.
Students will learn how to organize their ideas, strengthen sentence structure, improve clarity, develop engaging writing, and communicate effectively for both academic and personal purposes. I provide encouragement, constructive feedback, and practical strategies that help students grow as writers while building confidence in their abilities.
As a certified teacher, I strive to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, exploring their creativity, and developing the skills needed for success in school and beyond.
