About Charles
I am a science teacher who has taught all disciplines of science at the middle school level and am currently teaching Physics at the high school level. My undergraduate degree is in Physics and Secondary education but I also have experience in Biochemistry research at Cornell University. I am proficient in many upper level math courses along with science courses. I have been teaching for three full years now (not including a half a year of student teaching). I approach all lessons with helping to guide students to find their answer and to really make them work to find answers to different problems they face as I believe that this installs a longer lasting knowledge on the topic.

My teaching method is to give students the proper supports they need in order to access information and create solutions to problems they face without taking away the challenge completely. I believe students need to be challenged in order to truly absorb the material and create lasting knowledge.
