I am a CFA Charterholder with a degree in Economics and several years of experience across the finance industry, including asset management, investment banking, and property investing. My maths lessons are built around clarity, confidence, and steady progress. Each session is taught one-to-one and tailored to the student’s level, pace, and goals. We begin with a free 30-minute introductory session to understand where support is needed and to set a clear learning plan.
I focus on helping students truly understand why maths works, not just how to memorise steps. I use visual explanations, structured methods, and real exam-style practice, drawing on internationally recognised teaching approaches to break down difficult topics.
Lessons are fully interactive, using online whiteboards, screen sharing, digital problem sets, and guided practice, so students stay engaged and actively involved throughout.
Outside of lessons, I’m available for ongoing academic support via email or Zoom, and parents can expect regular feedback on progress and areas for improvement. My aim is to help students gain confidence, improve accuracy, and feel in control of their maths.

Details
I hold the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and a degree in Economics, Banking and Finance, which provide a strong foundation in mathematical reasoning, problem-solving, and logical thinking. I use this background to explain maths clearly and in a structured way that students can understand and apply with confidence.
Alongside my professional career, I have hands-on experience teaching maths to young people, including tutoring my younger brother through GCSE and A-Level Maths, helping him achieve an A grade in both, as well as supporting multiple students at my church with GCSE Maths. This experience has helped me develop a patient, encouraging teaching style that adapts to different learning speeds and abilities.
My lessons focus on building understanding, confidence, and exam technique, breaking down complex topics into simple steps and reinforcing them through practice. I aim not only to help students succeed in exams, but also to develop strong problem-solving skills that will benefit them in further education and beyond.
