About Sonya
I am what they call a 'Jack of trades.' This will be my first official attempt to be a 'Paid' art tutor, which has long been a dream of mine. I have been sketching and designing, worlds, and characters since I was very young but, never brought it to a professional level. In our day and age, only now do we consider worthy teachers documented individuals whom spent more money on educating themselves on things they already know, than their own homes which they live in.

I teach, disabled students whom may feel they need more assistance in achieving their dreams, high school, and adults. (I do not have the patience I wish I did to spend long hours tutoring the youth.)
I base all of my teachings on asking someone what they know first and coach them from there. I'm teaching a person, NOT the subject. The subject knows what it is and needs no lessons. I am an art COACH, I will only accept teacher if I earn your respect in that way. What I expect of my students is to bring one's own materials, a thirst to learn from themselves and the acceptance of constructive criticism from the coach.
You are your best teacher, listen to your hands, your head, and your heart. Art is a philosophy and a way of being.
