About Sowmya
I’ve always been passionate about teaching, because I believe that everyone deserves to be taught the right way before being tested. Too often, students are expected to perform without ever receiving clear, supportive teaching that makes sense to them. For me, teaching is about breaking down barriers, making accounting accessible, understandable, and even enjoyable. I know what it’s like to feel lost in a subject, and I’ve seen how the right explanation at the right time can completely change a student’s confidence. That’s why I focus on personalised, patient, and practical lessons. My goal isn’t just to help you pass exams, but to give you the tools and understanding you can carry forward into your studies, career, and everyday life.

I believe that anyone can learn Accounting and Finance with the right guidance. My lessons are personalised to you — I take time to understand your background, pace, and goals, then adjust my teaching style so that concepts feel clear and manageable. Accounting can seem overwhelming at first, especially if you don’t come from a finance background. That’s why I focus on explaining things simply, step by step, using real-life examples and plenty of practice. Many of my students who started out thinking they could never learn it have gone on to pass their accounting and related papers with confidence. Whether you’re preparing for exams, catching up on difficult topics, or just need someone to break it all down clearly, I’ll support you every step of the way. My aim is not just to help you pass, but to help you feel comfortable and confident with accounting.
