Hi, I'm Jake, I'm 17 years old and first learnt how to play chess at the age of 4, after taking a long break I brought interest back into the subject, and have retaught myself with ease! Now I'm prepared to share my knowledge with everybody willing to learn! I'm available Wednesday - Sunday 5-8PM*

I like to take a simplistic and patient approach to my chess teaching, I thoroughly explain each technique, and keep attention by including small jokes, and making the lessons somewhat entertaining! I use threefold repetition to ensure learning is kept optimal! The typical length of my lessons will be roughly an hour! Note these lessons are intended for the absolute beginner to the 500-600 elo bracket. All ages! Online (Chess.com or Lichess + Zoom/Discord) Local sessions available in Swanley, Kent I’ll help you or your child learn how to: Avoid blunders Play basic openings Spot checkmates Win games with confidence Message me to book your first free trial lesson!
