About Karen
I am a Chemical Engineer with Masters in Engineering. I have an additional qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools, and have 2 years of tutoring experience in a centre in London. During my tutoring experience I was supporting groups of up to 6 students in maths, science and English, as well as in their homework.

My teaching methodology consists of going through past paper questions as these are similar to the ones they will be sitting.
I would go through each question with the student, first allowing the student to answer the question on their own so that I know their knowledge level. I would then check the answer and ensure that the student understands the concept behind it (explaining where necessary).
My teaching methodology is very visual, either with drawing or acting (or imaginary) as I believe that this is the best way for a student to understand and remember.
My students are usually from a young age up until GCSE, however I am also happy to teach adults.
