About Femi
I’m a second-year Chemical Engineering student at the University of Manchester, currently averaging a First-Class degree. I achieved A*A*A in my A levels in Maths, Physics and Chemistry, and have always enjoyed helping others with their studies. During my A levels, I regularly supported my friends with difficult topics, which I found both rewarding and enjoyable. I particularly like the moment when something finally clicks for someone after they’ve struggled with it. I’m excited to bring this experience into tutoring, helping students build their understanding, confidence and enthusiasm for their subjects in a supportive and approachable environment.

My tutoring style is supportive, patient, and tailored to each student’s individual needs. I focus on creating a relaxed environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and building confidence. Rather than simply giving answers, I encourage students to think independently and develop strategies they can apply to new problems.
This approach is effective because it combines clear explanations with active participation. By adapting my teaching to each student’s pace, learning style, and areas for improvement, I can address gaps in understanding while keeping lessons engaging. Most importantly, I aim to help students become more confident and independent learners, so that their progress continues beyond the tutoring session.
