About Micah
I have four younger siblings, who have a wide range of different learning-styles. I have helped them with their classes for the last decade.
I have also taught several groups over the years. One was learning how to build a Lego robot for a competition and the other was studying Chemistry.
I have also professionally tutored part-time for the last year, teaching Algebra, Geometry, Statistics, and Chemistry.

Each person has their own way of learning, so for me, teaching is the art of figuring out the way that works for them. I get creative with teaching methods. I like to use visual and interactive demonstrations where possible.
To tailor the teaching style for you, I like to do a session 0 where we just chat and I get to know your level of understanding and learning style.
Lessons typically take the form of a quick intro, a concept and problem-solving method, then some practice problems to make the method stick, but we can change this up if it works better for you :)
I teach at the Middle-school to 1st-year university level.
