Chemistry becomes approachable when lessons prioritize understanding over intimidation. I specialize in transforming confusion into competence for students from K-12 through college Year 1.
Each session is built around three pillars: simplify, connect, apply. We simplify by breaking complex topics: VSEPR, redox, gas laws, intermolecular forces, into digestible frameworks. We connect by tying every formula to tangible phenomena, from cooking to climate to pharmaceuticals. We apply through deliberate practice, where you learn to choose the right tool for each problem type.
K-12 students build bulletproof fundamentals: nomenclature, mole conversions, and bonding logic. College freshmen tackle Gen Chem head-on: quantum numbers, equilibrium calculations, calorimetry, and introductory organic with confidence. I provide annotated notes, memory devices that actually stick, and feedback loops that track growth week to week.
