About Tyler
I'm an older brother of five, a college graduate, and am married to a middle-school math teacher. I've dealt with the common struggles of the student multiple times over, and have faced and overcome them. I don't believe in cookie-cutter teaching. Everyone learns a bit differently, so I will listen to and work with the tutee to establish the best learning method for them.

. I will work with the tutee by by first targeting the concepts the tutee struggle the most with, then will slowly work through the concept one step at a time with them. From there, we will go over some examples together, either from the book or made by me, and then we will work on some homework/assignment problems. Once we reach that point, I will allow the tutee to work on them themselves, while allowing them to ask any questions. The ultimate goal is for the tutee to be able to solve these problems and understand the concepts on their own.
My tutoring is open to middle school, high school, and college level, and will primarily involve Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. Many of the concepts in each of these levels build on each other starting in middle school, so I feel that offering my services to each of these levels helps. I can tutor Algebra I to Calculus II, and General Chemistry I to Organic Chemistry II. I can also tutor Physics I and II.
