About Troy
I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and have 8 years of teaching experience working with students across different levels. My interest in Chemistry began with curiosity about reactions and how substances change, which later developed into a passion for teaching.
My teaching approach focuses on clarity, patience, and structured learning. I simplify complex topics into easy steps so students can understand them clearly. I use examples, simple explanations, and practical connections to support steady improvement. I also adapt my teaching style based on each student’s pace and comfort level.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy reading about scientific developments and exploring new topics in Chemistry. Teaching Chemistry is very rewarding because I see students grow in confidence and understanding over time. Helping them achieve their goals motivates me to continue teaching with dedication and enthusiasm.

Chemistry becomes easier when students understand how concepts are connected instead of memorizing formulas and reactions without clarity. My lessons are designed to build strong understanding in topics such as atomic structure, chemical bonding, reactions, and basic organic chemistry through clear and structured explanations. I guide students step by step so they can understand how reactions occur and how different principles are applied. I also include examples and real-life connections that help learners relate theory to practical situations. Each session is supportive and interactive, allowing students to ask questions and learn comfortably.
I organize lessons based on each student’s level and learning goals to ensure steady and balanced progress. Beginners focus on basic concepts, terminology, and simple reactions. Intermediate learners work on detailed understanding, balancing equations, and solving problems. Advanced students focus on complex topics, exam preparation, and improving accuracy. Practice questions, revision strategies, and regular feedback are included to strengthen understanding and support continuous improvement.
Chemistry lessons also help students develop logical thinking, observation skills, and confidence. As they improve, they begin to understand how Chemistry connects to everyday life. Many learners start finding the subject interesting once concepts become clear. My goal is to make Chemistry simple, engaging, and confidence-building.
