About Zane
My passion for chemistry started with curiosity about how substances interact and change, leading me to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, where I studied organic, inorganic, and physical chemistry extensively. My education provided the knowledge and tools to teach complex topics in a clear and engaging manner.
Over 7 years of teaching, I have helped learners build confidence in chemistry, guiding them from basic concepts to advanced problem-solving. My chemistry lessons focus on helping students grasp the underlying principles behind chemical reactions and processes. Many learners feel intimidated by the formulas and equations, but I emphasize understanding rather than memorization. Lessons begin with foundational topics such as atomic structure, the periodic table, and chemical bonding, creating a clear and strong base for more advanced topics. Step-by-step explanations, visual diagrams, and practical examples make abstract concepts accessible.
As students progress, lessons cover reaction types, stoichiometry, acids and bases, thermochemistry, and solution chemistry. I integrate problem-solving exercises, experiments, and interactive discussions to strengthen comprehension. Students learn to approach chemical problems methodically, understand reaction mechanisms, and apply their knowledge to real-world situations.
The goal of my lessons is to make chemistry interesting, practical, and understandable. Students gain analytical skills, problem-solving ability, and confidence in tackling complex questions. Over time, they learn to connect chemical concepts to everyday phenomena, enhancing both their academic understanding and curiosity about the natural world.
