About Lance
My interest in chemistry began with fascination for how invisible molecular interactions can create powerful changes in the world around us. I completed a B.Sc in Chemical Engineering and later an M.Sc in Pharmaceutical Chemistry, which gave me both industrial understanding and deeper insight into chemical design and drug development. With 8 years of teaching experience, I have guided students through chemistry with patience, structure, and strong encouragement.
I believe chemistry should be taught as a meaningful system of logic rather than memorised reactions. My teaching style emphasises understanding mechanisms, practising calculations steadily, and helping students connect theory to real chemical behaviour. I create a learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and building confidence step by step.
Beyond tutoring, I stay engaged with chemistry through continued study of formulation science, reaction research, and modern pharmaceutical advancements. Teaching is fulfilling because I see learners transform from uncertainty into strong scientific confidence. Supporting students as they master chemistry’s powerful language is one of the most meaningful parts of my work.

I connect chemical concepts to real-world examples, showing how reactions shape everything from medicine and food to industrial processes and environmental systems. This approach helps students feel engaged, curious, and confident as they learn.
Each lesson is structured to support steady improvement at every level. Beginners build strong foundations in atomic theory, mole calculations, and reaction basics with calm guidance. Intermediate students develop deeper accuracy in limiting reagents, yield problems, equilibrium concepts, and reaction rate analysis. Advanced learners refine their understanding of multi-step mechanisms, analytical chemistry reasoning, and exam-level problem solving. I provide detailed explanations, practice support, and consistent feedback so learners gain both precision and clarity.
