My approach to tutoring math and science focuses on building strong conceptual understanding alongside problem-solving skills. I begin by identifying the student’s current level and any gaps in foundational knowledge, since many difficulties in these subjects come from missing earlier concepts.
During lessons, I will encourage my student(s) to think aloud so I can understand their reasoning and correct misconceptions early. My goal is to create a supportive environment where my student(s) feel comfortable asking questions and gain the confidence to tackle questions independently.
