About Grace
Over 12 years, I have cultivated my passion for chemistry while earning a B.Sc in Chemistry and an M.Sc in Physical and Analytical Chemistry. Throughout my teaching career, I have guided students of various levels—from beginners establishing a solid foundation to advanced learners preparing for higher education or research projects. I integrate theoretical understanding with practical applications to make chemistry both accessible and intellectually stimulating, nurturing curiosity and competence in every student.
My teaching philosophy emphasises patience, clarity, and individualised attention. Lessons are structured with interactive exercises, demonstrations, real-world examples, and problem-solving challenges that encourage independent analytical thinking. I create a motivating environment where students feel supported to ask questions, explore concepts freely, and develop confidence in their scientific abilities.
Beyond teaching, I actively engage with contemporary research, laboratory practices, and innovative educational techniques, bringing enriched perspectives into lessons. Witnessing learners grow from tentative beginners into confident, capable scientists is deeply fulfilling. I utilise interactive demonstrations, step-by-step exercises, virtual or hands-on experiments, and scenario-based examples to ensure students develop both conceptual clarity and practical understanding. Each session is designed to foster curiosity, critical thinking, and independent reasoning, cultivating a supportive environment where learners feel confident to explore, question, and experiment.
Lesson structures are customised to meet each learner’s level. Beginners start with fundamental principles, measurement techniques, and simple calculations, gradually building foundational skills. Intermediate learners engage with reaction mechanisms, titration techniques, equilibrium calculations, and applied chemical reasoning.
