About Stephen
A Chemistry PhD student at Nottingham. I hold a Masters in chemistry at first class with honours and was awarded two awards, one for academic achievement and one for my master's thesis. I have four years tutoring experience and one success story is a student going from being predicted a 2 at GCSE to achieving a 6. I have volunteered on a week-long residential for children with a range of SEN for 6 years, where I am a group leader, responsible for 5 helpers aged 17-22 as well as the children they are responsible for. This has taught me the importance of clarity, patience when explaining things to young people of all abilities as well as teaching them new skills they may require.
