About Carlos
I am an international student in my late 20's! I come from Colombia. I hold a bachelor's degree in Linguistics and translation and I speak four languages, Spanish, French, English, and German. I have taught the first three professionally and continue to be involved in multicultural communities. Currently, I am working towards my bachelor's degree in Chemistry, I tutor and I hold leadership positions on Campus. I love working with my fellow students, and challenging myself to learn new things. I am very social, and very open-minded, my teaching background has allowed me to develop the necessary skills to deal with all students.

I have created lots of material to get through all levels of General and Organic Chemistry. I love starting my lessons by establishing our goals for the day, working together on question problems, and working through strategies to present the standardized ACS exams. When tutoring foreign languages, I always set the goal to practice a specific skill for the day, listening, speaking, reading, or writing. I love concentrating the learned topic with a communicative and daily applied life goal in mind.

Carlos has been my tutor for as long as I can remember taking any chemistry in college. The simplicity in which he process chemistry has allowed me to understand in such a fun way every chemistry class a have taken (currently Org chem2).
Carlos understands in such a way that he is able to simplify without missing any steps for understanding, and he cares so much that each one of his students understand before leaving the class.
I highly recommend him for anyone who is caring to understand and enjoy chemistry.Carlos is insanely well studied and knowledgeable. He was able to help me with every question I had for him in General Chemistry, and he is very experienced in exam taking strategies as well! Overall a 10/10 tutor, he's the reason I passed my chemistry classes!
