About Charles
I am a first-year Chemistry student at the University of St Andrews. I have A grades in Advanced Higher Chemistry, Biology and Maths. My teaching skills have been developed through various programmes, including paired reading. Through my time so far with the SQA and St Andrews, I have developed knowledge not only in the concepts but also in research projects and report writing.

My teaching method is based very much off student participation. To understand, I believe visualising the concepts and looking for connections is critical. This means that learning requires creating conceptual models, diagrams and awareness of the implications of each concept. Also, exam practice is the best method of learning: breaking down the main types of question to see what exactly is being asked and how to fully answer.
