About Garis
I am an 18 year old university student who has GCSES in Maths, English literature and language, Sciences, Art and Computer Science. At A-level I found a deep love for chemistry and mathematics, getting myself A-levels in Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics and an EPQ. Ever since young, I found a need to help teach my peers, whether they're friends or just students in my classes. After my MChem I plan to work towards a PhD and become a professor at the University of York to teach students about chemistry. As a result, you can trust in my professionalism and care for teaching students about these subjects.

Lessons will be 1-on-1 for 1 to 2 hours. Lessons will involve personalised questions and slides focusing on topics that have been mentioned as problem areas in previous lessons and we will work together to improve on them. Between lessons, I will gather slides and resources on topics you mention as problem areas to work through in the next session. We will work through both exam questions and questions I have created. Throughout, I will give simplified context to topics allowing for a deeper understanding (these may not always be at an A-level or GCSE level but I will make it clear whether something is for context or for the subject.) I have experience tutoring before at a GCSE level bringing a students grades in maths and sciences from a 5 to a 7
