About Jane
I qualified as a teacher in 1994 after completing a chemistry degree at Lancaster University. I worked at an 11-18 School in Oldham for three years before moving to Lancashire. I worked at a secondary school in Leyland for the next 20 years and became second in science there. As my three children had grown up I decided to venture out of mainstream and worked as a tutor at a school referral unit and part time tutoring 1:1 in maths and science for ACERs, the medical support unit at Royal Preston Hospital. I now teach part time at a high achieving school.
My students have achieved excellent grades at GCSE Chemistry and at A’level.

I am a chemistry teacher currently working at a school rated in the top 3 of the country. I have taught at all levels and abilities and also have experience with 1:1 tutoring as I worked with the hospitals education unit in Preston. I have also taught at A’level and wish to help students who need a little help to boost their grades..
