About Asa
My interest in chemistry began with curiosity about how invisible particles shape the world around us. I earned a B.Sc in Chemical Science, where I developed strong understanding of molecular behaviour, analytical methods, and applied chemistry concepts. Over 7 years of teaching, I have helped students build confidence by making complex chemistry approachable and structured.
I believe chemistry should be taught with patience and clarity. My teaching style focuses on explaining ideas in simple steps, using real-life examples and strong conceptual support. I enjoy helping learners who feel nervous about formulae or calculations, showing them how chemistry becomes manageable with practice.
Outside tutoring, I continue exploring chemistry through scientific reading and interest in industrial and environmental applications. Teaching chemistry is rewarding because students often discover they are far more capable than they believed. Supporting learners towards confidence and academic success is what motivates my work.

Chemistry becomes much easier when students understand that it is the science of transformation and structure. In my lessons, I help learners explore atoms, bonding, chemical reactions, acids and bases, and equilibrium through clear explanation and practical reasoning. I focus on building strong foundations so students can understand why reactions happen instead of memorising disconnected steps.
Each lesson is designed around the student’s current level. Beginners start with basic concepts such as the periodic table, simple bonding, and introductory calculations. Intermediate learners develop confidence in stoichiometry, reaction balancing, energy changes, and laboratory-style reasoning. Advanced students refine their skills in kinetics, equilibrium systems, electrochemistry, and exam-level problem solving. Step-by-step practice is always included.
Chemistry lessons often help students move from confusion to clarity very quickly. Many learners gain confidence once the subject feels logical rather than overwhelming. My goal is to create a supportive learning space where students feel capable, prepared, and excited to master chemical understanding.
